A Personal Note
My name is Ronen Amit and I discovered a couple of years ago, at the age of 46, that I have ADHD. I found out I have ADHD by doing a 20-minute online test which a Physician, actually a pediatrician got me to do. Since then my aim was to make the test accessible to the general public, as well as, to professional around the world. I also decided to go on campaign against the way ADHD is perceived by government, educators and the general public. I feel that there is a misconception about what is ADHD and how to deal with it.
ADD or ADHD is not a bad thing, as some people may also try to imply. It is a good thing when you come to realize what is ADHD and learn how to deal with it. When you or someone close to you is diagnosed with ADD you are starting on a new path of your life or help your child or spouse find their own, if they have ADD.
This site is all about ADD and ADHD. It is about finding out if you have ADD, it is about ADD treatment. It is the first step for you to deal with ADD. It is a new, alternative and revolutionary approach to life with ADD, a new route to happiness and success for anyone with ADD. The articles and resources on this site will help you diagnose ADD, better understand what it really means and make the most of it.
Note about the terms used on this site
Personally I don’t like using terms, such as, ADD, ADHD, diagnosis and treatment, and so on. These terms are misleading, due to their negative connotation. However, I will keep using those terms on this site as long as they are the most acceptable and widely used terms.
